Absolutely amazing game! Love the story and the various possible paths to go down. If you want a game that really is challenging and fun then youll love The Lost Heir!!! Cannot WAIT until the second part comes out!!!

Fantastically written. The story is interesting and the gameplay is fun! A perfect balance between a somewhat challenging puzzle and engaging tale.

This games embodies what i love about cyoa games, reminds me of dragon age origins.. Has a few flaws but the update mostly fixed some of those but hey nothings perfect, but this game really came close though.. :)

The excellent wordplay and sense of intrigue guides this excellent story with so much choice and opportunity to explore. Ive replayed it multiple times to get a multitude of results and Im waiting for the sequel as Im typing this.

Ive always loved these types of games but this one is by far my favorite.

As youd expect from this author, the reader is given tons of interesting stats and abilities to use. Lots of options for replays by building different characters and interacting with the NPCs in various ways.

This is hands down one of my favorite choice games of all time, across Hosted and CoG combined. The characters and the plot are intriguing and memorable. It also presents a real challenge in some areas, and its such fun to figure my way through things!

You wont regret it!

I got this game when it first come out, and really enjoyed it. Im waiting now for the 2nd, which should be out soon.

Incredible story, very well written and a pleasure to read. It is a bit short however the choices are numerous. It also has one of the best romance options in any COG game I have seen. I hope the sequel comes soon.

As someone who loves interactive fiction from Hosted Games/Choice of Games, my expectations were quite high for this one. The Fall of Daria did not disappoint. The story was well thought out and quite heartbreaking at times. The attributes system was a bit odd for me to look at, as it was different from what I was used to (the main series I played was the Heroes Rise trilogy). Ive tried on many occasions as the assassin to have high enough stats in certain areas to pass ALL of the stat flags, but its quite hard to do. Still, awesome game, and it has a lot of replay value with different character relationships and specialist "classes". (Spoilers ahead.) Although a beautifully written story, I thought that the way the plot advanced was expected with its initial setup, especially what happens at the banquet and the imprisonment scene. My favorite part was the part where player and their companion drag themselves out of the prison and try to figure out what to do next. Our hero always has to be beaten down and battered before redemption and glory, of course! I hope to see more depth and twists and turns in the next stories! The characters were my favorite part of the story though. I adore the "childhood friends, reunited!" relationship, which in turn made me repeatedly romance Petra and keep her with me (I promise, I TRIED to choose the other childhood friend in a playthrough once, but I merely couldnt - my attachment to Petra was already too strong). I also love Karla, though I keep forgetting that not sending her to investigate means she sacrifices herself for the player (but what a noble sacrifice that she and your guardian - for me, Lady Emaline - fight through). Ah well, at least Theo and Jace are still alive! ...Right? Thanks again for the great story, and I eagerly await the next installment!

This was a lot of fun to play. You will go through a few play throughs to get the ending you want just be sure to read carefully.

One of the best Choice of Games I have ever played. Cant wait for the sequel!

This game was awesome! It had a great storyline and a lot of different choices. I cant wait for The Lost Heir: 2 forging a kingdom and The Lost Heir: 3 the demon war.

This story is beautifully written and has a wide cast of characters I can not get enough of!!! Ive played this game at least 20 times I swear

I am hoping certain plot frustrations will be resolved in the sequels (which hopefully wont take too long to be released!!!) The writing is fantastic, the story progression is great, and the character development is spot on :) please give us the sequel quickly!

Ive played a good portion of all the interactive novels that Choice of Games and Hosted Games have out right now, and The Lost Heir: The Fall of Daria is my personal favorite out of all. Its story is compelling and there is a lot of stat development for your character, similar to how a fantasy adventurer would grow through multiple trials and tribulations. The NPC interactions are also top-notch. This is the only interactive novel in which Ive waited for the sequel since the original release. Its been about a year now since I got this game and the sequel is almost done. Needless to say, I hope to be one of the first to purchase part 2.

This games story is riveting, its characters are well done, and youd be hard pressed to find more replay ability anywhere. With the sequel on the way, this is one Hosted Game you dont want to miss!

I love this game, but when will part 2 come out? I was enjoying the amazing story!!
